Seriously?
This hapend to me in the tournament too…
Whatever.
I’ll hand you the win here.
I have played already some games where Paris blows up in my face. In the tournament it went almost this bad, and Paris ending up costing me so much in units that I couldn’t catch up with Russia in terms of units.
This game will be that much worse.
I give you the win. We can start over if you like, though.
I understand. That was a remarkably bad roll. Evidently, you should win that battle over 90% of the time, according to my odds calculator. Norway was also over 90% for victory for you. This makes me want to play Chess and eschew all lesser games.
If you like, you could re-roll all of your combat again for game 2, if you’re satisfied with your combat movements; if not, just start again from scratch while I can still stand to be away from my chessboard, heh.
I just reroll all battles, as I wouldn’t have changed anything I did.
If you prefer, we could play low luck?
Thanks for offering the option of low luck. I read some about it on the forums. I’ll pass, I guess, as it could be argued that this game simulates the anticipation a commander has in the efforts of those he commands without the control to predict it. If we can predict outcome of battles, 1) I might as well be playing Chess and 2) It endangers the feeling of a commander over his army. So, the only real option is to embrace the truth that war can be lost, though perfectly commanded, I suppose.
OK.
I’ll reroll a bit later.
No scramble in sz 110 for game 2.
