This may be uncharted territory for me….if you were to lose this battle would your tansports be kaput. If you retreat I suspect they would stay loaded and go to one of the zones you attacked from…doest that include zones that just contained aircraft?

If I lose, I can still retreat my transports.
However, if I were down to one attacking unit and you still had 2, and you hit twice, I would lose a loaded transport before I could retreat.
Yes, they stay loaded and go back to a zone I came from. It would have to be a zone that a boat travelled through or came from.

Now if you hit twice, I’m pretty sure I would be doing the amphibious assault even though your transport would live. I might have to ask Krieghund to make sure, though.
