Just got back from my vacation. Hope the wait wasn’t too long! Sounds like we are both busy these days.
Yes, you can take Ireland without transports. Scotland is the same as Northern Ireland and therefore adjacent to Eire. Strange, but the actual board shows this a bit better than the aBattlemap does.
Also, on the sz113 combat, I would have scrambled my fighter as well. Not sure if that would have changed your mind about attacking or not. If you would still have attacked, doesn’t change the outcome of the combat. Up to you if you want to not have combat.
I’m getting a few things in order today now that I am back but plan on making Japan’s move today.

Hey Gi_Joe. Not sure if you have checked out the latest on the discussion thread, but it looks like we have to finish up the game as it stands and write our upcoming strategy to Jennifer and they will decide the “winner.” Bit of a shame to end it this way, but obviously we need to move on with the tournament.
Regardless of the outcome, I would like to continue the game with you if you are OK with doing that. I have not played enough yet and think we are just getting into the really good stuff.

OK… apparently I was making the Japan turn too quickly. Also forgot to put the KSU unit build. Here is the corrected map. Sorry again. Jennifer, I promise not to rush next time but wanted to get the last Japan turn in before the deadline!!!
