Greetings Gamers,

We will be starting an Axis & Allies club at JAC Games in Akron, Ohio. JAC Games is located at 1101 W. Portage Trail Ext. in Akron
Ohio. Our phone number is 330-475-7468, and email is jacgames1@yahoo.com

We will be meeting on the last Saturday of every month at 7 p.m. and playing as late as everyone wants to. We’ll be playing the newest version of the Axis and Allies board game. We will deviate into other A&A games and also plan to run an ongoing variant version of the game that we have played for many years. The variant version is played on a very large custom made map with anywhere from 6 to 12 players, it’s more of a free for all style game where natural allies are formed based off of the conditions of all the worlds powers.

Nashville Axis & Allies will be holding our next gathering, The Battle of Franklin, on December 12-13. I’ve reserved my neighborhood clubhouse in the heart of the Cool Springs area of Franklin, just south of Nashville.

This is a two day event beginning Friday morning, December 12 through Saturday, December 13th. There are plenty of tables and lots of room for multiple games.

So far we have 10 confirmed RSVP’s. There are quite a few hotels less than a mile from the clubhouse. We will have lots of food choices with numerous restaurants in the area, including Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks within walking distance.

Axis and Allies fans, I wanted to let everyone know that our gaming group, Atlanta Axis and Allies, will be having our next gaming session on Sunday February 26th.

Our group, as the name implies, is devoted Axis and Allies (and all of its variants) and we always welcome new players. Whether you are a long time Axis and Allies veteran or are completely new to the series, if you enjoy strategy gaming then this group is for you! There is a gaming convention this weekend(President’s Day weekend) at the Sheraton hotel near LAX. There will be A&A games going on, plus an A&A tournament which starts at 9AM on Saturday.

Who will be the best “overall” strategist in an unusual cross-tournament: Axis & Allies, Axis & Allies: Europe and Axis & Allies: Pacific.

This unusual Axis & Allies/Europe/Pacific cross-tournament will have 3 rounds: The first round will be a round of “normal” Axis & Allies. The second round will be a round of Axis & Allies: Europe and the final round will be a round of Axis & Allies: Pacific.

The winner of this tournament will be the Iron Men of Axis & Allies!
The minimum number of players is 8. Dependent on the number of players the round of Axis & Allies is played in groups or k.o.-system. The following 2 rounds are played in k.o.-system.

The free tournament will start on September 7th, 2003. You can enter the tournament on the tournament page.

A&A Battle Cards and other prices will be rewarded for the toughest in a world-wide competition throughout all common A&A disciplines!

Please note that you have to register (for free) to access the tournament invitation.
