I had quickly typed it down in the middle of NCM so I didn’t forget about it. Then, I later copy and pasted it to the end where is looks better. However, I forgot to delete the original that I typed. :oops:
On a more serious note, it was bone headed of me to retreat to Egypt. After I posted the NCM and map file, I was looking at the map and I almost immediately realized that your three fighters from Persia can make it to Egypt and land in Sudan. Now, I have to mess up my German plane placement to cover my Italians. (:x :x :x :x at myself)

Can tell you that most of my other games are easy compared to this one.
Overall, i think i didn’t react very well to your J1 attack. My russian play has been poor while your German + Italian attack is flawless so far, and it has nothing to do with dices… I feel like i still have a lot to learn about this game ! :lol:
Now i really have to stop and think : where am i going in this game exactly ?
Well, I like how our conversation is going. To tell you the truth, your play on the Pacific side is scaring the crap out of me. Between the US and Anzac, you are way, way out building my fleet. That’s going to matter. The only saving grace I see in it is that my J1 attack (in my view at least) forced you to dump 100% of the US money into the Pacific. This is paying dividends on the Europe board. This was my first game where I did a J1 attack and I like it except for one thing…on J1 I should’ve purchased two subs and two transports (instead of four subs). It is easy to plunk a few more troops into Japan for defense if needed. It is impossible to take them off Japan now that I’ve set sail. I just have to live with my nine unit placement capacity from my minors. Also, and most critically, I think I would’ve close the Burma Road already if I had moved and extra two infantry and two artillery to Kwangtung on J2. On J3, they would’ve attacked into Yunnan and, at minimum, prevented you from that artillery purchase you were able to make. Plus, I’d a few extra transports to use for swapping islands with you.
Anyways, after you called out my strategy in our first game and gave me a good swirlley in the locker room toilet, I’m glad to be making you work in this game. :wink:
