I think the Axis will win next round by holding the 8 VC
There is even a “small” chance they could this round if SIT went very badly for you; I expect you to take heavy casualties and Germany will be able to re-take it easily on their next turn along with Stalingrad.

Hard decision, I see both sides with a chance to win, but as of 31 October 2011, I would say the Axis are in a winning position.  There are 2 allied capitols down.  I also think America is out of position to capitolize on taking S. Italy - at this time.
