G40 Tournament "News From the Front"

The first round was determined by entering all the players into Excel and using the data sort feature to alphebetize the participants.  I then used a random number generator, removing and shortening the list accordingly, to select who was playing who.

I will input which player is playing the allies and which is playing the axis as that determination is made.  I will also input the bid amount that “won” as agreed upon in the discussion thread.  Note: this is not classified information, your potential opponents would easily be able to open your threads and look to see what bid was placed.  I am not posting the losing bid.  Therefore, if you do want the allies desperately, you could bid 5 battleships in SZ 109 and no one would know you did so unless you won the bid.

Please email me with your game number and bid as soon as you can.

If I have not heard from your opponent by Sept. 6th I will assume they forfeit and bring you to the next round.  I would rather not do that, but I also cannot hold players up indefinitely waiting to know if they are playing a game or when it will start.  I’d like all games to be started no later than the 6th of September as well.
