Thanks. I actually did well. We play small stakes. $20 buy in, but won $10, so can’t complain. Basically an excuse to drink too much and stay up late……
I’ll get the Allies in today hopefully.

Cool

Hey Stirling, looks like the one def hit in HUN was not removed. Am I seeing that correctly? If so, I can remove the inf during my move.
-
Go ahead sorry about that
-
No worries… also noticed you did not place your 2 German tts… so, 1jap inf for 2 german tts? I think a good deal :-D
-
I also forgot to ask you about a house rule that the guys I play face to face with use. Want to see if you are interested in using it. Basically, it is to mitigate crazy dice. Each country that still has it’s capital has a one time “do over” for a battle. Can’t use it willy nilly, but if it is obvious that it was really bad odds then the country can evoke the rule. Axis gets G, J, I and the Allies get US, UK, Russia, ANZAC (france of course is lost already). We have found this simple rule has been very helpful in preventing some really bad dice from completely skewing good play. Many times, the do-over is never actually used, but typically once or twice in a game.
Interested?

I’ve never played low luck. Do you like it? I’ve always been OK with some ups and downs, just liked the idea of eliminating that one absolutely awful battle….

Can you give me a map then I’ll decide. Low luck I really like but it does make for a very different game. I would be happy to play with your house rule if we can agree on a percentage from an odds calc what battles can be re rolled ie an 80 20 that goes bad re roll but you take a 50 50 you can’t . Let me know
Cheers
-
Here you go, Stirling.
I would say anything results that were 20% or less likely to occur can be considered for the one time re-do.
