Purchase:
5 ss (30), 1 dd (8), 1 AC (16), 2 fgts (20) save 1$I mulled over this for a bit, not sure if it’s the right move or not… figure I will pull the trigger on it.

Iwo Jima (1 Inf) vs 2 Inf, 2 Art from Caroline islands vs 2 trns in SZ 33 - I don’t believe Kamikazees work against lone transports? if they do I don’t wish to do this attack then.Scramble orders for SZ 36?
-
No scramble. You can take Iwo Jima.
-
I thought you might not; gives you better odds in a future battle not to mention it would have been near mutual destruction on that battle I think.

I would rather trade any “good dice” from earlier battles which are less significant to some of these more “important” battles.

If you had scramble and we did around mutual destruction;
I had a few follow-up moves to soften up Japan for a counter-Strike…
Like attempt UK air attack on KWA to try to kill 1 bomber + maybe try a suicide run on the Philippines with Anzac.
I know sometimes I think of a few crazy moves…not sure if you expected that last USA move at first but that is probably why you didn’t scramble.

I saw this one and it’s the exact reason i didn’t scramble. I toyed with the idea of scrambling just the fgt and keep the tac for the defense of Kwa, but in the end, i didn’t like my odds in sz36 with only 3 planes against 7…
