Dutch East Indies

Hello!

A group of us are looking for clarification on the Dutch East Indies in 1940 Global Second Edition. We play the board game, but now have the softwear TripleA game version.

As Japan, one of our members is able to invade Dutch East Indies without a DoW on England in the non-combat movement phase. as though it were a minor neutral with no forces.  Is this working as intended?

My understanding is that for Japan to invade DEI, a DoW on England and Australia must be in place.

You are correct Cadwaladr.

I was surprised that in your game TripleA allows an invasion without the DoW. So I just started a new game and skipped through the moves to J combat and tried to land an inf in Celebes. It won’t let me do it.

I cannot explain why your experience is different.
