Official start day is tomorrow, so either tomorrow or when I receive both bids. I will update the Tournament results thread accordingly. So far I have 9 of 32 bids (10 if you count myself and I am not sure if DM has received my opponent’s bid yet.)

Can you send confirmations to us after you’ve received our bid? I’ve tried sending mine twice but when I check the outbox nothing is there… So I’m not sure if its being sent

Terror, I got yours, but I only got it once.
Everyone else, in Alpha 2 (different in Alpha 3) AAGuns cost 6 IPC, not 5 IPC. For any bids which involved AA Guns I have updated accordingly.
Today is the official start day. I’ll update the results thread to display the winner of the bid, if I have received both bids.

I don’t want to be a bother or start an avalanche of queries, but can you also confirm that my bid was received? I wouldn’t want to (potentially) hold up my opponent if it didn’t go through.

I hope everybody is aware of the tournament start date; I actually almost forgot myself and had to search the Tournament Section.
maybe a reminder should be sent to the remaining players that haven’t bid yet? and maybe send a few reminders into the other G40 tournament posts; I kept checking only 1 topic but it was only the signup one and I kept looking for when the brackets would be setup etc…

I’ll send a reminder to those who have not sent in bids yet. Either tonight or tomorrow if I remember.
Just to keep everyone up to date, the “News from the Front” thread is reporting winner/loser of bids (and will report winner/loser of games). It’s locked so it wont’ get bogged down with a bunch of irrellevant data. It also includes a copy of the rules, for easy reference.
Keep checking there for your matchings and if you know you sent your bid in and no bid winner is given, PM your opponent to remind him.

Keep checking the result page if your game has not started yet. “News from the Front”. I am updating as fast as I get bids, but i am literally modifying the posts. Since you cannot post there, the thread will never show up under “new replies to your posts” command and since they are modified posts, I do not think they will pop under “show unread posts since last visit” either.

Question (or two) on ICs.
1) If Germany takes France, then the complex is reduced to a “minor” complex, correct? Capped at 3 production?
2) All Major ICs can build up to ten units (regardless of IPC value of territory - assuming its greater than 3 of course) correct?
So for example a Major IC on say a 6 ipc territory could build 10 units, right?
Likewise, all Minor ICs (assuming territoriy is greater than 2 ipc) can build up to 3 units?
