Look in the Play by Forum > Play Boardgames > Global 1940 and read through some of the rounds.
The dice rolling command should be stickied in there, if not:
;aaa 5@2 6@3 2@4;
Replace the ; with :
The first number is how many dice, then the AT sign, then the target number (defending infantry would be @2, etc)

I might be interested, but I don’t know how to play online… And I don’t know the bidding system…
The best way to learn game play is to find a game thread in the “Play Games” forum and read it. The command line for throwing dice is:
;aaa 2@1 4@2 3@3 1@4;
where the ; is replaced with :
where the number before the @ is how many dice you want to throw
where the number after the @ is the target number (four or less for instance)
The system will then bold your hits and count the number for you (as you can see in the game threads.)

Jennifer, I’d like to join in but wondering what the typical expectations are for speed of play. Work and other commitments typically leave me with time for a single round every other day at most. Don’t want to slow things down for anyone playing. If you could clarify for me, be greatly appreciated.

A turn every other day is usually fine. Typically we kind of go by a move every 72 hrs at least. Tourny games can move faster, but as long as your opponent knows your pace it usually works out fine.
