OK… so, if you now control 7 cities and drop to 5 during the Allies’ turns, the clock starts over on your turn, right? You cannot win by recapturing the 6th city on your turn since the Allies would not have had a chance to react to it yet?

Oh crazy. I was miscounting. I thought I had to hold India to win. Doh. I wasn’t doing as badly as I thought. If you take two I have to have 6 next round all over again.

In other words, yes, I have to hold 6 until the end of any round. You always get the chance to recapture.
