Wow.  I’ll give you that I overlooked the fighter in WUS, and I also overlooked the battle calculator’s default OOL having the carrier higher than fighters and bombers; which boosted your odds of winning that battle considerably…  If I had recognized that I would’ve bought infantry rather than subs…  With the combination of those two mistakes, that took your odds from what I thought was a 7% chance of you winning, to a 40% chance.  Live and learn.

I will have to concede at this point then.  I have nothing that can counter you taking Japan, and Germany and Italy are in trouble in the West, so I don’t see any possible way I can turn this around as Japan was where I thought I was doing the best.

Congratulations on a well-played game, and good luck in the playoffs (if you’re going to make the cut).
