Just picked up the 1998 Axis and Allies from Microprose today.
Installed it, everything runs fine, until the combat phase starts, when the program crashes.
Running Windows XP, have 512 MB of RAM.
Is this a common problem, and is there a quck fix?

Generaly you can select casualties for your opponent (take infantry before artillery, artillery before tanks …)

If there is a question (attacking sub gets 1 hit on a defending transport and a sub), then save the game when it is your opponents turn to select casualties, exit the game, and mail the saved game file to your opponent (this works better in 0.8.2 than earlier versions). Your opponent can open the saved game, select casualties, and continue the battle.

Hi

I don’t now, but if you want to record it on the computer, you might as well use Abattlemap, its a very handy tool and easy to use. Just Follow the link postet here.
But if what you are making are prints to record the unit placement by hand, I don’t think there are any smart sollution, untill now!
