    so sick, i don’t even know why i’m surprised though.  i seriously don’t know how i ever win a game with this luck.  i’m telling you, and i know it’s hard to believe, but this is normal for me.

    thought i finally caught a break in india (was forced to bait you) but I have since given it all back and more.

    are you aware there was a 0.5% chance i would lose a fighter in that battle at the start, and of course a 10% chance i would lose a fighter after the round 1 whiff… incredible how common that is for me.

    Luckily for me Japan can afford to throw away units if it helps Germany.  Obviously the India attack was ill advised on my part but the whole point was to kill the UK armor, which unfortunately for me after my first rd of battle it was clear the arm was going to survive.  Would have liked to pick off a couple more ftrs in the event you kept the UK arm but it was ultimately a disaster.  I knew you were going to go island hoping with it and that was the only unit that had a available trn for the Allies in the Pac.  So for me it was worth the risk, particularly since Germany is so strong.

    i totally agree with your logic, i’m not saying you have made any bad attacks.  i set up india as an attack that could really hurt me, but that i was hoping you’d make in order to give myself a chance to catch a break (pretty much forced to try and get SOMETHING to happen that would change the tone of the game, which was me getting crushed on the russian front).  and i did catch a nice break in india.  but since then, two battles which should have gone decidedly in my favor have re-crushed me to a pulp…  :oops:  after India, i thought you might get a tad bit more conservative, so i thought you wouldn’t make the naval attack unless i gave you some nice incentive.  i obviously wanted you to make that attack (which was not a bad attack for the reasons you stated) but boy did it turn out hideously for me.

    Yeah, I agree.  I just really didn’t see the upside to retreating back to Sz 62 with J and giving you the south Pac.  Granted it wasn’t the best attack to make, but it turned out to be the “best” of a bunch of bad options.  You made it just a little toooo tempting with 3 acs there.  Lol!   :-D
    I just caught a break on the dice.  The funny thing was I was totally thinking I’d get slaughtered there as well (like India), so I was really just aiming to take out your acs and for the ftrs to land in Ngu or hopefully force you to decide to lose a ftr or 2 instead of the last AC.  After my second roll (another 4 hits) I knew at that point I had a chance to clear assuming you didn’t roll more than 4 and lucky for me you only had 3 hits.
