i generally assume around italy if the german player moves their planes down in a scramble position they want to scramble
i did not know though if you wanted the italian plane scrambled – that was a guess. if you had not you would have ended up with an extra italian fighter and i would have had 1 extra hit point which i would have taken as a loss on the dest and cruis and a save on a fully loaded aircraft carrier with two fighters. it would have likely prevented italians from clearing med this turn and gaining their 5 bonus.
if you really dont want the scramble, i am fine redoing that battle. just take off the 3 fighters and we can do the rolls from there. if this is what you want to do just repost italy before you do germany. i would have sunk the italian fleet on the first round so just remove two planes and leave the fully loaded AC and the other two surface ships.

Actually, I’ve been dumping German planes there to force England to over commit (or not do the battle) to preserve the other half of the Italian fleet, but not scrambling…it’s okay, I mean, I didnt go back and rework the battle giving myself my planes back or nuttin…
