Love WD. I really enjoy the comics and comparing them as the story goes along, fun show.
Bin Laden dead

Pakistan
(music from Toto’s Africa)They trained for months to get it right
while the news did not report the building of his mansion.
With folks around him, lips are tight,
the locals pondered about this family’s insulation.
Their choppers journeyed far that night,
there would be no marker for his shrine in the ocean
ten years of searching for this fight
the win churns up emotions not the same …Chorus
When the towers burned, they vowed that you would too,
You lied about the mission of your corrupted group.
You started war, fled to Pakistan,
Gonna take some blood to do the things we never had.The counter options reviewed up high
many off the table for fearing misaimed damage
They did not let the ends paralyze
let the officials worry about their own reelection image
There is no end to war in sight, ten years to reach this sheltered townChorus
(Instrumental break)
the win churns up emotions not the same …
When the towers burned, they vowed that you would too,
the extra wife will not protect you from your doomafter Friday prayers in Pakistan, send our elites down in Pakistan!
You started war, fled to Pakistan.
Send our elites down in Pakistan !
Send our elites down in Pakistan !
Gonna take some blood to do the things we never had. -
I heard Africa on an oldies station early last wk.
The Wierd Al Yankovic side of me triggered as I read this thread thinking, “Hey, Africa and Pakistan both have three syllables …”
This composition took about 70 minutes, so, I believe it was more inspiration, than raw talent or skill.
I did another one titled Multivitamin sung to a U2 hit, but that took over a week.

Wow how hard was it to kill him we heve had 10 other chances

I have doubts that Bin Laden is really dead. Just hope its true. Hope this will bring justice to the victims of the bombing, especially this coming August 09, 2011.

One could argue the doctor from Egypt was and still is the brains of the operation. Bin Laden was more of a motivational speaker. Symbolically very important but I would disagree with the assertion Bin Laden was the master mind.
Now, perhaps a new thread to take wagers on the date of Syria’s Bashar al-Assad asylum bid or……

There seems to be some controversy that OBL was already dead due to lack of good dialysis and that a double was killed by the Seals.
I find that a bit strange since it was said the Islamists would have erected a shrine where he was buried.
But then again, what do I really know about those of his faith?

I think the URL says it all “Crazy-seal-team-six-conspiracy-theories”.

Heard from the Talking Points Memo that Pakistan has convicted the doctor who identified Bin Ladens remains as a traitor.
So should we conclude that Pakistan is Pro - Al Queda ?
-
Parts of Pakistan have been an issue for a while, and yes many are pro-Al Qaeda and Taliban (or in them proper).
