Guys, just a reminder to keep it clean.
Lets just finish this game up and move on. I’d like to see it done by Labor Day at the latest. If we can keep turns to a 48 hr window (or less) that’d be great.
If you guys can’t continue or no longer wish to play each other, I may be forced to make a call.
You guys would be able to submit battle plans (via PM) to me, so you could make your case. But I absolutely hate judgment games, and seeing as you two are easily two of the top players I hope it doesn’t come to that.
I wouldn’t want to be in charge of adjudicating this game. Too close to call.
I hope you guys can put aside your grievances soon and commit to finishing… Even with daily turns I could see another month or more of action ahead.
I’ll echo that. I have been keeping to a strict practice in this game of posting only, without comments. The tension seemed the abate over the past few weeks so I relaxed that some. But, I made no comment about the dice and made no taunting.

Alright we gotta get this game done.
We are going to 24 hr per turn time limit. So after your opponents turn you have 24 hours to post.
(I will apply common sense - ~25 hours I understand, unless opponent posts “bump” - see below)
Basically make a turn a day.
I realize that I had paused this game earlier and there have been longer breaks previously in the game but we are apporaching 4 months of game time which should be more then enough to finish even with breaks. I also realize you are two top players, but again this is only round two and there is still a long way to go in the tourney.
I’m also going to let the game play out to completion assuming a rapid pace can be maintianed. You guys have a lot of map downloads so people are definitely interested.

Rules:
1 - Just post turns - no comments.
2 - Give OOLs rapidily (if at work or unable to check map post a time when you will be around that night to give OOL) — I’m not giving 24 hrs per round of battle if OOLs are needed.
3 - 24 hr warnings: If 24 hrs goes by and no post then your opponent can simply post “bump” . I’ll check the time stamp if it is a legit 24 then the offending player will receive a warning. 3 warnings and that is it, you’re done, I don’t care if you just took two capitals.
4 - If you have a vacation or need an extended leave, then please just concede the game.
Only exception is Labor Day weekend. I’ll pause the time limits there. If you are too busy at work or in RL, then please concede the game.
5 - The only people that should post in this thread are Gamerman and Dutchman.
6 - If either player can’t play by these rules then simply concede. Then just post in this thread you are resigning. I’ll understand especially since the tourney is supposed to be fun and not work.
But we really do have to finish and I looked at the map and it would be impossible for me to judge a winner even if I had elaborate battle plans.
I’m going to assume if turns continue to be posted you guys agree to play by these rules.
I’ll give you guys a day to read this post and then a day to post.
So Gamerman is up for a turn by 8/24 (I mean the evening of 8/24).
