At the end I did a NCM and placement edit. I decided to move an infantry from Karelia to Caucasus and then place 6 infantry in Karelia and 3 in Russia.

At this point I will stop and ask for a casualty choice.
I’ve made enough choices after midnight tonight. We’ll see how it looks later.I know you don’t like me, and you are convinced you’re a vastly superior player to me but any way you look at it, this has been a good game.

Yikes that’s some bloody conflict.
Fun game to observe guys. Seemed very close all the way through and is close now.

I have a letter here, written a long time ago, to a Mrs. Bixby in Boston. So bear with me. “Dear Madam: I have been shown in the files of the War Department a statement of the Adjutant-General of Massachusetts that you are the mother of five sons who have died gloriously on the field of battle. I feel how weak and fruitless must be any words of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering to you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom. Yours very sincerely and respectfully, Abraham Lincoln.”

Yep, it’s a good thing they’re just little plastic army men in my living room (or virtual pixels on the internet)
I’m exhausted. The battle for Moscow will have to wait until at least tomorrow.

Need another casualty choice -
2 Russian arm, 1 Brit ftr.
-
Hold on a minute… miscounted…
-
-
Well, I was interrupted. Let’s do 1 Russian arm, 2 Brit fighters. That leaves me with 1 Russian arm, 1 Russian ftr, and 2 Brit fighters, correct?
