Got it, I didn’t see that I also had a FAQ, was thinking I only had the CLASSIFIED clarification
Now I see my specific question is answered, the carriers could not even split up during a combat move that ends in the same place
Or, I might get cold feet after the first round, in which case I may have given up a differential of about 8 infantry.
Make that 8 infantry and 2 bombers, which would be horrible, but very unlikely. You can’t play this game effectively being worried about the worst that can happen, you just have to ask yourself if you’re prepared for the worst to happen, and sometimes you’re not, but you want to attack anyway.

Ow. Bombers must have been seriously damaged by flak. And the panzers didn’t make it there yet. But the 88’s went crazy.

At this point I will stop and ask for a casualty choice.
I’ve made enough choices after midnight tonight. We’ll see how it looks later.
I know you don’t like me, and you are convinced you’re a vastly superior player to me but any way you look at it, this has been a good game.
Yikes that’s some bloody conflict.
Fun game to observe guys. Seemed very close all the way through and is close now.
Thanks Zhuk

A lot of good men died today.
I have a letter here, written a long time ago, to a Mrs. Bixby in Boston. So bear with me. “Dear Madam: I have been shown in the files of the War Department a statement of the Adjutant-General of Massachusetts that you are the mother of five sons who have died gloriously on the field of battle. I feel how weak and fruitless must be any words of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering to you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom. Yours very sincerely and respectfully, Abraham Lincoln.”
Yep, it’s a good thing they’re just little plastic army men in my living room (or virtual pixels on the internet)
I’m exhausted. The battle for Moscow will have to wait until at least tomorrow.
