Well, the Russians went easy on me (after I whiffed in the first round both times), but the Russians have more TUV than the Germans before they even buy….  That bid placement worked out great for you I think.

I don’t know about “close to ruins”.  If I don’t think there’s a reasonable chance I can win, I resign, don’t worry.

Dude, you’re only about 100 ahead in Total unit value.  You must wear rose-colored glasses.  I really don’t know that all your doom-saying is warranted.  Yes I’m behind a bit, and yes you have the advantage.  Maybe this is your gamesmanship?  Japan has 492 in units.  More than America.  More than anyone.  Perhaps you have never lost once you get 9 battleships going.  I can’t believe you haven’t been collecting the big Russian NO.  I was amazed when you pulled back several rounds ago.  You just keep on feeling invincible - those are the kind who find themselves vincible later.  :-)

I admit, I am a bit conservative. Perhaps overly. I think the allies really need long term balance to win games and that means at times Russia or another allied country needs to “pull back” and attack another front.

At this juncture, I don’t see Russia losing the BIG NO for the remainder of the game. I could be wrong, but I don’t see it. Perhaps its my dark sun glasses!  8-)
