@JWW:
I was a bit confused as you listed the CHI battle first and then didn’t do it? Obviously you couldn’t as you didn’t have enough bmb’s & inf!
Obviously forgot to delete it - sorry.
Also, yes, the SBR S/B first! This can give you an unfair advantage. Please don’t let that happen again.
Human error. I forgot it, and the moment I realized it, I rolled it. You can expect me to be perfect the moment that you attain perfection, but you’re far from it, I’ve seen. And in my opinion, failing to roll a single SBR before a couple of minor skirmishes gave me absolutely no “unfair advantage”. Are you being sarcastic? Are you just trying to keep up with my pointing out your errors? I mean, I’m a little bit perturbed at this comment because when I realized it I immediately acknowledged that SBR’s are technically supposed to go first, and I rolled it.
If I’m not allowed very minor human errors, then I don’t think I’m fit to play against you. If you think I’m being too harsh by pointing out rules that you are obviously ignorant of (saying I’m the first to ever point out that you must declare locations of damage repairs), then just say so, instead of saying “don’t ever fail to roll SBR first again”. I sense you are resenting being corrected? Lighten up, please.
-
One more thing I just realized. I caught the SBR immediately after 2 amphibious assaults that I couldn’t retreat from.
So forgetting it had ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT. Also, forgetting to delete the attack on Chi may have confused you for a moment, but again had ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT. My innocent human errors in the first round or two of Germany’s turn could have given me an unfair advantage, had I contrived them, which I did not. I have not made any errors like that since you tactfully pointed those out.
I’m doing my best to type an accurate game, and normally I do better than most. You need to make some small allowances for your opponents’ innocent human errors, because you make them too.

At a glance, it appears Normandy just happened.
Hitler is wringing his hands. Perhaps little brother Italy will respond during the day Wednesday…. I need to get to bed. -

Owe you a move - will try to get 'er in tonight.

Hehe - you sure had me confused until I looked at the map. You didn’t take New Guinea (which was defended), you took Borneo.
Made no difference this time, but to help prevent future misunderstandings:
Please specify exactly what is being dropped from what sea zone. I know you didn’t shuffle boats from zone to zone, you just kept everything in 5 and 7 in the same position as the beginning of the turn, but this could be problematic in a future turn (heck this time you were attacking one infantry with overwhelming force - it’s not like you got any advantage this turn).As we’ve already discussed (you criticized my G1 for a similar issue), the moving player should eliminate all ambiguities to avoid giving himself an unfair advantage (In a future turn it could be a big deal, and I want to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings or disagreements). Now you and I have only made innocent mistakes in this game, nothing intentionally inaccurate or ambiguous, of course, but let’s both continue trying to reduce ambiguities and inaccuracies.
