what was i to do? this is like, my 3rd game playing axis, and i have never seen anyone build a russian navy, so i really had no idea how to react. the dice were awfully kind, so it seemed to work out. but we’ll see in the long run. it’s still a looooooooong ways to moscow.

nice counter-attack… i thought i had you toward the end, but you finished with a flourish… nicely done. and it took guts… that was about 50-50 battle, and if goes sour, russia is dead.

now let’s see what the yellow horde has in store…
