If my attacks keep failing miserably when I have very high odds against you, you certainly could beat me, yes.  3 fighters for a single destroyer/transport combo and 2 subs and a fighter with nothing to show for in Z2 will certainly give you a better chance.

Jeez, man, I thought when my fighters did an epic fail on Z35 that those 2 tanks were absolute toast.

It’s what sets A&A apart from chess.  Imagine if you trapped the queen and when you went to capture her you first had to roll a 1-5 or it would fail……

Er - very very minor, but moving a destroyer into 13 is not a combat move, it’s a noncombat move.
