@midnight_reaper that’s a cool idea and I might have to try it. However I don’t like the idea of getting advancements for free, which is why I like some sort of facility to buy. Since the G40 R&D board seems to have the better advances on one side I’d say you have to roll a 1-4 to get the 1 column, and 5-6 to get the second. Maybe even through in an added cost to get 1-3 & 4-6. But again with that, I think countries should have to build the facilities in their capitol instead of anywhere and starting with them.
Weapon development is still necessary?

We have to try a new rule.
At the beginning of turn 6, players get gradually new technologies.
All technology appear on a chart and at each turn player can know which weapon is available for each country.
In this way, it is not necessary to roll a die to get a new weapon.AL.

Still got the free tech cards ?

Yes but I question myself.
Is it logical to get a heavy bomber in the second turns?
Or get a self-propelled gun in turn 3?AL.

Remember last game played US got heavy bombers on turn 5 but couldn’t build until turn 6 and then they had 2 die each which was to strong and we changed rule back to 1 die on SBR’s for each bomber. That rule still apply?

Yes…my fellow member didn’t like my B29 so now it’s a weapon development not available since turn 15!!!
When I’ll finished to refresh the rule, special unit and weapon I’ll send you the info.
