This sounds incredibly interesting to me. I am all about flexibility in games as it keeps you interested in them. That is what I am attempting with my Global variant map and house rules with it. Except I am only doing WWII as it is what I have available, and due to limited funds and limited experience I am not willing to undertake something like this on my own… yet. But this sounds incredibly interesting. If there is anything I can do to help out let me know. Assuming this goes beyond an idea

I came across a map that someone created here, titled “Axis & Allies Mediterranean” - it was very good quality, and I downloaded the one that had the starting setup illustrated on the map. I’m looking now for the map that didn’t have the starting setup - any help?

I have printed out a Med. map using Tigermans 1939 global version. I enlarged the Med. area until I got the size I wanted and then tiled the pages. I will assemble them soon and post some photos. The map will be about 3x6. Still waiting for my Italian units from FMG so that I can complete my N. Africa game. Might have to use Russian units for Italians!

Just for a Med., N. Africa game. I do not have enough Italian units yet. I did not want to purchase any more WOTC units as I wanted to save my money for FMG units. I am still waiting. SIGH!

No it is not that one. I tried that map and didnt like it. The one I am using now is from Tigermans global map. I enlarged the section of the Med.-N. Africa and then tiled the pages and then printed it. It finished out about 3x6.
