New sculpts for Marines Poll
-
@coachofmany:
I am trying to follow FMG, my first set is German/Italian then US marines, then US.
I will sneak in a small set in-between his large sets.
I am trying to supplement his sets as well as supplement OOB sets.
I will keep the list on my website as current as I can with projection dates.I will poll on AAA.org for information, in fact I need to do a couple this weekend.
Thanks
Where can I find this info on your website?
-
Under HBG products- plastic pieces.
-
will your pieces also supplement OOB?

Yes, I am doing OOB colors and FMG colors at the same time.

I have US Marines on my website from the Axis & Allies game Pacific 2001 if you are needing them.

Coach I know it is VERY EARLY but it seems you are very aggressive on these new pieces. I don’t want to hold you to a timeline but I was curious if were talking late this year, early next year, middle next year or you get the picture. Thanks
-
Sanchez, if you go to his website he has target dates listed. They are July for the Axis Minors, August for the Marines, and September for the US set. Coach, if FMG decides not to do the Mustang, will you please please please make it!
-
im pretty sure he wall have a poll up for US when it gets closer to the resales of US pieces, that being said the mustang should be one of the options.

If FMG is not going to make an M3 Stuart light tank then that would be a good sculpt to consider. The Marines used a lot of them against the Japanese. They were generaly superior to the Japanese tanks. They had a role in Europe as well.

I am making Stuart in the US set.
I will also poll to find out what people prefer in equipment.
I will make the P-40 in the Nationalist Chinese set. -

The U.S. had a small 75mm Artillery piece that both Airborne & Marines used, it was easy to maneuver and much smaller than other pieces. I am torn even to do a artillery piece just because there is nothing special about the artillery. So maybe I should leave the artillery piece out. What do you think?
-
For the Marines set I don’t need an artillery. I may be alone on this but frankly I’d rather have an amphibious Sherman for the set.
-
Great choice with the Stuart and P40!

Yeah, the Marines could just use regular US artillery pieces.

-
yeah i can live with out a marine specific artillery, im happy as long as you make the infantry and the Corsair for the marines

Wonder if I should put some LCM’s ?
ok, in a pack of 26 pieces:
12 Marines
2 Flamethrowers
4 LVT
6 CorsairI added a LCM to the poll as well as a Infantry with flame thrower, modify your votes if needed.
What do you think?

You have 24 pieces listed. What are the other two? Are the two flamethrowers listed infantry or shermans?
-
Flamethrower Shermans would be awesome! I cannot change my vote so let it be known I support the LCM!
