Okay so I know this is a AAA forum but I need some help. If there are any warhammer players out there then maybe you can answer a question for me. What is the base sizes for the Tyranids? Particulary Warriors, Lictors, Carnifexs, and the Hive Tyrant. The reason I want to know is me and my friend are playing the game but I have no money to buy pieces and I’m not ready for that investment. So my friend is gonna buy the Tyranid Codex and I’m gonna use cardboard circles to represent the units. The thing is I want the exact sizes. Anyway thanks for the help. Also if you know the sizes of anyother tyranids or even necrons or orks (my next “armies”) then please post. THANKS! :-)
For most pieces in 40k, it’s 20mm, then HQ’s are usually 40mm. Depends on the specific units though. Pieces like the Tyranid Carnifexes are bigger.
Actualy the average base size is 25mm. 40mm is used for tyranid warriors and 60mm for carnifexs. Thank you Google :-D
