I bought the 1941 game just for the different game pieces. I don’t want the rule book or anything else. If you live in the US I could send you the book 1st class mail…
I’m terribly sorry, I didn’t mean to upset anyone… everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I was just voicing mine, and I understand not everyone shares the same opinion. Sorry to go off-topic.
Back on topic, if I find a copy of 1941 cheap in Canada, i’ll be happy to post it here. :-D
I purchased this NEW in 1997-1998ish with the intent to play when I left for college. I ended up joining the Navy instead and it sat upstairs in my closet in my parent’s house for the last almost 2 decades.
The box of the game has slight edge wear from storage but the game has never left the box. Everything is original packaging. The rubber bands for the armies have never been removed. As shown in the picture, the Japan rubber band has broken from age but is still there.
I am looking to get into 1940. I would love to trade for either a as new Europe or Pacific 2nd edition. I hope that there is someone out there who is a classic purist who would appreciate this edition. Please PM me if this is appealing. Thank you.
If u still want chips u can get them on HBG in half bags for 3.95 while supplies last…i picked up enough so I can play global 40 with them and still have the ones from 42 2E to use for that game.u need about 72 or so grey chips for the global 2E setup (using greens and reds where applicable)not counting any of the neutral armies.and doubling up with peices instead of chips in some areas.
