Hate to compromise my deity status, but JWW is giving me quite the schooling in the league this year…he beat me in 5 rounds our first game, and 4 rounds into the second things are looking hopeless. I managed to beat him a couple times last year, but I had to work for it–he’s hardly breaking a sweat! Now if we could just get him to write some strategy articles. :-)

Apart from the brits leaving the frenchies to the wolves i havnt seen anything to out of the ordinary. i broke the axis with Rome as they invaded albania (no point getting involved with a drowning man :-D )

No, but I can force you to choose between not attacking at all and negating your entire airforce as an offensive weapon against my navy, or trading to my benefit. And I don’t even have to invest a lot into offensively useless units. 16 IPC is about all I need to get a Carrier, the rest I need anyway. Meanwhile, you now have 6 fighters, 1 bomber vs 2 fighters, 1 AC, 1 Surface Ship from Game Start and multiple transports.

Sure, I’ll lose some transports, but I’ll take out your airforce. Or, you let me land uncontested. :P

And that, in a nutshell, is what I mean when I say that navy is better against airforce then airforce is against navy.

Yea, the reason for that is America can offset any advances by Japan through exploitation of her islands. Couple that with the massive fleet Japan has to build up just to keep America from owning everything and killing her Asian units from the rear and you have a mess for Japan.

In reguards to the Russian Winter N/A, I was thinking if the winter is so restricting why not limit the movement all ground units to one.Â It might make the N/A a little more potenet but I do not think out of the relm of plausable.

I think the 3 in defense for infantry is better than your idea. Why do you think the opposite?
