Hey like said in the post above I’m new to the forums and to Axis and Allies as well. I’ve owned 1942 for a year or two and have never gotten to play it (besides a few solo games versus myself-dont judge me) cause my friends arn’t very patient. Also i recently purchased Europe 1940. I’ve been snowed in for 2 days and still got 4 days left of free time. So if someone could let me join a game as a supporting role (I wouldn’t mind playing Italy) that would be more than fantastic. Please let me know soon.
I’m sorry but i dont quite understand you. Where I come from people don’t even remotely associate eager and supporting. By eager I mean I’m ready to learn and help in anyway I can. And don’t mind by me pointing out it appears you are quite new yourself.

I would play 1vs1 with you or in a team against 2 other opponent. Pick whichever you prefer. Perhpas second is better if you don’t know much Axis and Allies. I play Axis and Allies Global (AAG40) with Alpha+ .2 (or Alpha2) revised setting. The out of the Box (OOB) setting for AAG40 was proven unbalanced and Axis don’t stand a chance.

With the software and map, we can exchange by forum each turn. To roll dice, a command is available and proven balanced.

You can play AAG40 by forum eventhough you only have Europe box.
Download Abattle and module I gave you links for and you’ll understand.
So, If undertand you right, for the first game we would team up, you as Italy, me as Germany and Japan, against 2 opponents.

ha! i didnt kno thats alot of people for a AA game. I thought it was called “Global” for a reason.
HA! Bruce i just looked at the system and i have barely a clue how to work it. ill try to use it for dice and the Japanese side of the board but for the europe side ill use my own board.
The system is a map without any AI or dice fonction. You simply manually put pieces and remove them. Nothing more. It doesn’t calculate income, convoy and Nation objectives… but the module is not set for Alpha 2 nation objectives, so we add them up.
Just like you, I rather play with the board and people in same room… but this is nice too. Makes you know more people and more strategy. Besides, you may play a little every day instead of a continu 6-8 hours.
