In my tourny game the guy was in a similar positin but he didnt go Balkan, so this will be interesting for sure. I might have done the same…

I was anticipating Germany to fall back a little so Russia would have no choice but to go back to EPL, and the allies would finally start making as much as the Axis per round. Now that I do have a choice I’m worried I’m going to end up losing my Russian stack somehow or worse.

i should have played it more like Tyzoq, judging from the current map… :-o
-
i couldn’t go as deep because DD wasn’t into BST in our game. he stayed back and stacked cze… too much opportunity for a 1-2-3 punch in blk they way he played it. looks like big trouble here DD.
-
Well, the key differece was that I had my priamry stack in Czech at the time, here it is in Poland. And, I think Tyzok has far more infantry in his stack than you did, if I remember right.
It makes it tuff because I have to defend Berlin, Rome, and Paris all at once. But, I am presuming (without looking at the map thoroughly) I will easily be able to do all three, but in order to do so, the stack will live to slowly withdraw…
-
well I’m glad to hear you don’t have some trick up your sleeve to crush my stack. But I’ll wait to see what you do before I breath a sigh of relief.
-
I’m going to break for a week or so on this game. I am focusing on the Tourny game right now. Opponent pushing for a faster pace. 8-)
-
Thanks DD, looks like we have a good one going…
