    Well, that went much better than planned. I know it was only a 32% to take it, but my primary aim was to thin out forces that would be heading east.  32% is about the same as any lone dd or inf hitting back, so it’s not outrageous.  The outrageous part is that I still have 3 aircraft left over.  :|

    ah, the power of the sub…so some rules clarifications.  as i have a dd, you can take my hits on your subs…obviously, if I lose the dd, then next round all subs get first strike/ftrs will hit your non sub targets…hence you would lose the above surface assets and then have a full pack of subs to hunt my poor (expensive) ships.  but, your subs can still never hit my subs so i have to soak those 3 hits on my ships.  assuming the above is correct, then lose:

    dbb, cru, 2 ftr, car
