Yes it was a comedy. It had one of the most original stories i ever heard:
They rebuilt the Titanic according to the way it looked back in 1912 and had it going on its maiden voyage except it would go the opposite direction ( from US to UK) so that it would appear the old ship completed it journey.
The original part is that the ship hits another iceberg and sinks and they have only enough lifeboats for half the people. Oh and the captain goes down with the ship too…dramatic!
They could not save the people because the communications were not working so nobody came to pick up survivors till the next morning.
It should have won every Oscar especially for the most original plot even invented.
I hope they make a Titanic III and keep up with these original plots.
