The global game has a ton of playing pieces, but there’s always room for improvement. Like many people, we 3d printed air and naval bases. I’m curious what pieces others have cannibalized from other A&A editions. This is what we use:
Major Industrial Complex - White complexes from Classic Minor Industrial Complex - Grey complexes from Revised China Artillery - UK artillery from Revised (same color) China Flying Tigers - UK fighter from RevisedField Marshal Games Pieces

I see that preorders are available for Italian sets. Very Cool and Nice Work FMG.
My question is (apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere): Are there plans to release any other national sets, or specific pieces? I would like to know because I am going to begin painting my pieces. I want to know if there are better ones in the works so I don’t waste my time painting the OOB pieces. If there are other pieces coming, can you divulge which ones and their ETA?

These look really good, but they are taking forever to produce it seems. I’m waiting for the whole set to be available…at this rate, they won’t be done til late 2012. Sooo long… :-(

Yeah really… I am itching to paint my pieces but I don’t want to begin if there are cooler ones coming out. The production process is taking very long… Italy was in the works back in August if I am not mistaken and they are still not deliverable yet.
