The Factories (As well as some of the Mnor Axis Units) came from “The War Game” (which is a great game).

I’d be willing to sign up as the noob player, I just finished reading the rules. IF there exists a way to play online with such a ruleset then I could play online. Why would you need 4 axis players though? Isn’t this game purely zero-sum anyway? So a single axis player and a single allied player should be mostly similar to having multiple players on each team.

Krylon is my friend. I decided a long time ago I like the maroon Soviet units in Revised. So my half of my Soviets are those pieces and all the stuff added in since is Krylon maroon. I refuse to play their stupid little games. Like Stalin said. “I do what I want.” 😜 :-P

Sounds interesting. How about just using “1 player/ turn” option, where if a player owns both UK and France, but none else, he can move with just those two in an attack? Not as extreme (or interesting), but a little more realistic in some ways.

Guadalcanal
D-Day
Battle of the Bulge

When America attacks Solomon Islands rather than having a normal battle play Guadalcanal
When America/UK attacks Normandy or France with and Amphibous play D-Day
When Germany launchs a counter attack against a ally controlled France that has been liberated play Battle of the Bulge

The winner of these ‘Mini games’ takes control of the teritory

I have read that AAG40 takes a long time to play but this will beat that easily. Remember that not all of the games have the same pieces so if you try Guadalcanal with Revised you will not have a cruiser in Revised.

You can add the piece from other game sets or remove it from Guadlacanal

I like unlimited attacking (in Risk only), it adds an element of surprise since you can attack right into your opponents gut.

Im playing a free-for-all game later tonight. Im probably going to be Russia, jus to add a challenge.

I sense an early treaty with Germany and a war with the UK in my future…Russia in africa/india might not be a bad idea.

ithink japan will be the most intresting to play. probably most likely to piss everyone off. it has no common enemy everyone except german yis in the grasp of japan. even then if japan want safrica they may start a war. you may have to give up ypu 2 eaxstern countries as appesment. but don’t forget to attack sinkiang first turn. w.r russia should fall to you to so german should evacuvate it 1st turn.

I agree, Adding more rules doesn’t make the game more ballenced or acurate usualy it just makes it longer, but sometimes I am in the mood or a realy long game :wink:
