Well, at first I thought it would really imbalance the game to have tank defense raised to 3 and still cost 5, because, figuring defense per IPC spent, a 3 IPC infantry gives you .66 defense, and a 5 IPC tank gives you .60 defense. So infantry seems to be not that much greater. But when you take into account that for 30 IPCs infantry will soak up 10 hits, while for the same cost tanks will only soak up 6 hits, infantry is still king for defense. I could see where you might need to adjust the price when throwing in new units, though.
Capital captured and liberated… IPC ?

GMY has taken UK - London with two inf /2arm and then on UK turn they attacked with 2 BB shot and 1inf / 1arm. Gmy held with 1arm. US has now attacked with 3 inf / 3arm plus 2 BB shots.
1.) Â Does US get the 11 IPC for capturing UK territory or do no IPCs get passed out until its held through UK turn?
2.) Is Gmy takes it back before UK turn, then they would get the 11 IPCs for the space?
thanks

Britain is 8 IPCs…
I assume you mean IPCs plundered from U.Ks treasury?
1.1
No, U.S.A does not get the IPCs from Britain. Control of Britain reverts back to U.K immediately.1.2
U.K does not immediately get any free IPCs, they must wait until their next collect income phase before they can get any IPCs of any sort.Yes, because its after U.K has already collected additional IPCs.

when capitals are liberated they ALWAYS go back to the country whose capital that is. Germany has Moscow. Britain takes Moscow, Moscow is now Russian.
