first thing to do is you should take gib and look like you are going to liberate Nth Af and egypt then turn your forces to spain and then get germans to recall units from Britain who should look to place units in ontario early in the game if sealion is imminent so when the Germans get forced to tak units back from UK to defend france the UK can liberate itself and Germany is stuck between a rock and a hard place. If germany deal with the Americans the Brits are back int he war. If they retake Uk the Americans are attacking france and getting four extra inf to deal with not to mention french buying power. The Germans will be stuck and need Italian help which will be shucking across from Africa if the US has a mnr in Spain they can spend 9 ipc for 3 inf or 1 hit every turn resulting in a killer force that the Euro Axis can’t deal with and with The Mnr in spain you can then send some troops from the initial landing spot to liberate Nth Af and egypt allowing you to then put the pressure on Turkey which most likely has been used to get the 8 inf because the Germans need all forces to be around France and going to turkey would be a waste of a move as then they have to get the 8 inf to follow them back. The Brits being recently liberated should build mnr in egypt and use it to start attacking from the east relieving the soviets and allowing them to help put pressure on the germans and with three majors attacking them they will probably turtle allowing Italy to fall and you will end up with 4 allies(Because France will be liberated attacking Germany) The attacks will go USSR-UK-US-France so the Germans can’t rebuild after one round of combat. If it gets to this the German will surrender and the allies win. If playing a newbie he should only hold out for a couple of turns before the pressure starts. Especially since you will put a major in Rom or Nrwy
Blitzing a neutral

Q1 can a tank blitz through an enemy controlled neutral if there are no units on that space? ex: ilalian tank in persia wants to go into eastern persia and then go into West India(there are no units in either tt) on a blitz move. Q2 What if a Russian tank goes into NW Persia, activates the pro -allied tt and goes into Persia (no units on either tt)? Is this legal? East Persia and NW persia have no IC value and there are no infantry being activated. Thanks in advance.

Q1 - Yes.
Q2 - No. -
Q1 - Yes.
Q2 - No.Krieghund, I was thinking about the 2nd question a couple of days ago since the manual doesn’t refer to this situation. So the rule is: “when a unit activates a neutral its movement stops there”?

From page 10 (italics are mine):
Friendly neutrals may not be attacked, and air units may not fly over them. They can be moved into (but not through) as a noncombat move by land units of a power that is at war.
-
Can you blitz through a neutral that is still neutral, but a hostile one?
-
Yes, as long as it has no army remaining (or didn’t have one to begin with).
-
I thought that when talking about P40 6 months ago that you could not blitz one Mongolian tt that has no standing army to attack a 2nd Mongolian tt with or w/o standing army. I thought that entering a neutral (that is still neutral) stops your movement in both combat and non combat. Was this changed or did I have it wrong originally.

Ah ha. Thanks for the reference :)

I don’t recall saying that about combat movement against unfriendly and strict neutrals.

Sorry, I went and looked at that old P40 thread, I was wrong. Even back then you said you could blitz through neutrals that were not friendly as long as they were unoccupied. I must have mixed it up w/not being able to blitz (move through) friendly neutrals in non combat.

Can you move as Italy from Egypt to empty British Jordan (with a tank) and then into Pro-Axis Iraq?

Hmm, good question. I’ve never considered that situation.

No, the move (blitz) into TJ (to capture) would have to be in the combat phase, but you have to noncombat into friendly neutrals. The same tank can’t move in both phases.

Krieg’s response to this question on BBG agreed with Wild Bill. (See link below.)
