Why would you die stupidly over something so stupid? The only way the Stars & Bars are generally viewed by people outside of the South is an icon of racism. In DC, which is predominantly black, this is a bad idea. Possibly even a fatal idea.
The South lost the war a century and a half ago, the time has past to get over it. I suppose it’s your right to celebrate a bunch of traitorous racists who lost, just know how that makes you look.
The USS Liberty was nothing more than a negligent mistake during a war. These things happen, it doesn’t mean it was malicious. Stop and think about it - what exactly does Israel gain by attacking a US research vessel? It was tragic, and I don’t even care for Israel, but it was a mistake. We humans tend to make those…like trolling Capitol citizens with ghosts of the past.

This is in regards to waving racist icons in the face of victims of that racism, not of any inherent proclivity of any group of people. If I say it’s stupid to wave a Swastika in a bunch of Jews’ faces, that’s not me being racist against Jews.

This is a technicality. The Louisiana Native Guard were welcomed into the state militia. They were never used by the Confederacy in any military action or even supplied. It was forced to disband in 1862, and many members joined the Union after they took New Orleans. So really, this statement is incorrect.

Do you see a mention anywhere in there about Israel? Furthermore, what would it matter if it DID list Israel? They were killed accidentally by Israeli actions…that’s a fact, not a conspiracy. It’s not proof of anything you are putting forth.

The conspiracy is that it took Israel something like 50 years to even admit that something “may” have happened. The US government supported ignoring the case.
And the veterans aboard the liberty were also denied compensation and benefits for this “accident”. Which was really an act of war.

Not sure how that is racist… he was simply giving an example based on historical and statistical norms. Some people call that profiling or stereotyping, but it is really just accurate.
He never said or implied that only Jews are offended by Nazism, only that they would be if paraded in their faces. Seems like the answer to that would simply be yes.
