Here’s something that will appeal to Wittmann if he doesn’t already know about it: a steampunk combination of two of his great interests, the American Civil War and tank warfare:

The search result below shows some amazing pictures, including Confederate and Union tanks and a Confederate armoured Zeppelin.  I wasn’t able to pinpoint the correct thread on the site’s forum, so I’m posting the Google search that led me to it in the first place.

Looks pretty awesome - and would fill the void left by Battlefield 2 64 player servers no longer available.

Reminds me of those games, as well as Red Orchestra and Savage (which had large servers and the FPS & RTS blended action).

Unfortunately, the reviews of this game are terrible, which is probably why you don’t hear anyone talk about it.
