Magnetic tape is attached to the Aircraft Carriers flight deck before painting.
Magnetic tape is attached underneath Air units after painting.

My solution for magnetic carriers and fighters

So, I have read a few posts about dealing with fighters and Tac bombers on carriers. I was at Hobby Lobby and came across “magnetic tape” for $5.99. After about an hour of experimentation, I am happy with the results. I even painted over the magnetic tape and primed the fighter to see how that might affect the magnetic strength. No issues thus far, so I will begin mass production tomorrow.
