Yes we do buy the game! But in a group of friends only one game is needed and it would be nice for everyone to have a copy of the rulebook without each person having to buy the game!

You need the PDF even if you have the game. Specially if you want that your friends learn the new rules at home instead of wasting more than half an hour explaining the rules. Or if you want PBEM without having to carry the physical rulebook at hand everywhere
