here terrain rules would have made for a great addition to the game and solution to the potential problem you’re mentioning. as most of you will know the Italioan campaig lasted for two years and by the war’s end the fighting was still going on there. The mountainous terrain was ideal for defending troops and an attacker’s nightmare.if defended it would be virtually impossible to just push on to germany….
Italy and Paratroopers?

Perhaps if Italy are lucky enough to get para troopers, they might be able to send their infantry down to Africa, to help with all the British reinforcements.

You don’t have to have bombers to use paratroopers, I don’t thnk.

Infantry (up to 2) can be flown, to join an attack, if that location is within a 3 territory/sea zone range. They don’t need bombers or any other aircraft representation. They must however be on a territory with an airbase.
