I own Pacific and will buy Europe immediately however does it come with the global rules?

Does any one know any good places to preorder from? I’m down like a clown.

As a house rule, I would like if you could pick secondary targets w/Kami’s, so that if you get lucky rolling 1’s & 2’s you get all your hits.

How it works now is you generally send 2-3 Kami’s at each ship to try sink it, (or at least damage a 2 hit ship). So say you send 3 kami’s at a Battleship, and you get 3 hits. That’s awesome, but you still only get credit for 2 of your hits, the 3rd hit doesn’t count (even though it got a hit). You should be able to apply that hit to another surface warship of your choice. You should be able to roll all your kami dice and have all the hits applied to enemy ships.

I also think that if you manage to kill all the enemy escort ships, then your kami’s should be able to target the transports (transports last). This would also apply to un-escorted transports as well.

I want to clarify, Alpha 3 votes will convert to Alpha 2 if Larry does not give us Alpha 3 until after the tournament starts. However, he should have it out long before the tournament starts, I hope.

Signups will have a new thread once we determine if we want partners (which can be fun, but trying if your partner get the Flu or has to go out of town!) or singles and which ruleset. I won’t even start the thread until mid August at the earliest due to IRL stuff.

Partners would have to partner up before enlisting in the tournament. If there are singles that cannot find a partner, they can elect to be added to a list and I’ll pair them up, first come, first paired. Assuming we go partners not solo.

Teams would be:

Axis:
Player 1: Germany/Italy Player 2: Japan
Allies:
Player 1: England, India, Australia, France Player 2: Russia, America, China

You misunderstand my post - there are only ever four powers, with the neutrals acting just like OOB, but with different alignments.

It really should be:

1939- June 1941 Four Power game (Allies[UK & F], Axis[G & I], USSR, Japan)

Becomes three power game after June 1941 (i.e. USSR joins the Allies)

Becomes two power game after December 1941 (Japan joins the Axis)

It’s reasonable to assume that the USA only ever joins the Allies, and that (before June 1940) Italy only ever joins the Axis. The position of China is tricky, since we don’t want to exclude the possibility of an Allied/Japanese alliance, but where does that leave China - a neutral that the other powers (i.e. not Japan) can send aid to without it being a DOW on Japan?

Nice, well with depreciation of the dollar I would say that would probably be about what I pay for something like that as well. I will have to do some digging to find a place that does that, because I do admit that the ridges irritate me, not to mention the board separating from time to time if someone hits the edge or something.
