The original AA Europe is fatally flawed. Germany can win every time by just buying tanks and smashing Russia. This is a well known problem with that game. This AA Europe 1940 is much better.
Will Anyone Play Europe 1940 Separately?

Well the turn order (in global) is…
1. Germany
2. USSR
3. Japan
4. UK
5. ANZAC
6. Italy
7. USA
8. China
9. FranceAlso France and China are supposed to be played by another allied player, but don’t need to.
I know but like I said we have 9 people and we agreed when we get global (I payed for all so their mine :-D) we will take turns. We draw out of hat for frist time then switch off.
-
Man I wish I could find that many people to play the game in person. You know we should have a game when this comes out! We could have games where every power was controlled by a player, man that would be awesome! I’m going to make a thread right now!

You could, sense France will be knocked out of the game one round one or two have that person be India.

Yeah I might actually try a few 10 player games.

Im lucky. When I moved where I am I was surrounded with my kind. Axis and Allies fans. We play every 1st and 3rd saturday. I therefore have to buy every new game. (Thank goodness i get donations from my fellow players).
-
That is cool. For me it is like pulling teeth trying to find people.
-
Perhaps we should try playing a few games of Pac 40 with active Russian units on the board with maybe a new inf coming on the board every turn, and perhaps a few inf from the “middle East” could arrive on Turn 3. If that has no effect on the game then we know what were walking into.
-
You could even have 11 players and make a western us player and an eastern us player.

Or 12 East Russia and West Russia :-D
-
The weekend after it comes out we’re gonna have a global game played on my brother’s pooltable. I wish I knew more people who play too. It’s always dependant on my brothers. If 1 doesn’t wanna play the other doesn’t either which means none of our friends do either

splitting russia would be impossible, but since the Uk is already going to run like two powers that is possible and US is going to be economic powerhouse that needs to focus is assets in both directions, it can be split into someone running the pacific side of the board and someone else the atlantic. Those two would need to be willing to work very closely together though.

HEs right. Russia needs all the money it can get with Germany Pounding from the Soviet Eastern Front and Japan from the Soviet Far East.

Playing with so many people cannot possibly lead to a fun game. There would be 7 people at any given time messing around and not paying attention to the game and turns would just take even longer. In this case, there is such a thing as too many people. I’d say a max amount of players for a fun game would be 6 or maybe 7. Having 5 or 6 might be ideal though. It seems like it would take a while for only 2 people to play this game.

I have 9,sometimes 10 if someone brings a guest, players and we get through games fine. If you have immature people than yes but we are all very patient so we get through games quick. I have 1 AA50 2 AA42 2 AA original 1 AARE and 1 of BotB DDay and Guadacanal. I have almost every axis and allies game and we have to group off. This will eb the first time we can all play!!!

How old are you, if I may ask? Perhaps if you play with older people who are less inclined to joke around, the game will move faster. Still… 9 or 10 people seems excessive, in my opinion. If it works for you and your group, then that is great. I just think there would be very little to do if you split up the nations so much. The more power you have, the more fun it is to play. Anyway, my typical group is 5, and that seems to be ideal, orhas been for previous global editions.

Our group ranges to my cousin who is 13 to another friend at 33,soon to be 34. So yes they are not kids. I turned 21 1/2 two days ago. Anyway yes they are more mature I do sometimes subsitute for my cousin when he gets bored but besides that we all our dedicated.
So……HAHAHA

I am 20 and my group is all younger than me, but no younger than 15. So there is never a dull moment. Good for you though. In our case, we’d never be able to find 9 players.

Here’s what will happen to every A&A playgroup known to man:
Beforehand while talking about it everybody agrees it will be best to play E40 stand alone to get the feel of it. But the very second E40 comes in the door somebody will suggest setting it up with P40 “just to see how huge and awesome it is.” After admiring the scope and insanity of the global map numerous high-5’s, whiskey shots and general alpha male behavior will ensue. Then, caught up in the moment, one person will suggest playing it for kicks just to see what its like. Everybody else had already been thinking this the moment they laid eyes upon the finished product, so the request will be welcomed with open arms.
18 hours, 12 vodka-cranberries each, a carton of cigarettes, no fewer than 20 private strategy between powers and nearly infinite referrals to the rulebook later a victor will emerge. Even after this marathon nobody will get any sleep; “what-ifs” pouring through every players mind: “How can I better synergize London and Calcutta?”, “How the hell am I gonna deal with all that Russian infantry now?”, “Since when did Italy become so beast-mode in Africa?”, “I should have protected the Middle East better!”, “I better build more mechanized infantry or I’ll never get to Moscow”, etc. etc. The next day the weary-eyed warriors will be too hungover/tired to go to work or class. They will talk and gloat and whine about last nights game to the point where a new one gets started. And so on to infinity…
This is about global folks, and we all are going to play it first.
