Good catch, BadSpeller. I missed the “on an island” part of the question, seeing only “within one space”. The planes don’t necessarily have to land on an island. They could land in any land territory that’s been friendly since the beginning of the turn, or on a friendly carrier, as long as either one is within range.
Can Damaged Battleship's bombard
-
Okay, so say a Battleship is damaged, but is not repaired can it still bombard?
-
Damaged BB’s retain all of their abilities except the ability to take 2 hits
-
Which is interesting since damaged carriers become scrap metal.

Well… Well… yeah your right it’s really stupid.
-
It’s not stupid at all. The fact that damaged battleships retain their combat capabilities reflects the reality that battleships are much more sturdy than carriers.
-
We also need to remember that a single battleship piece does not represent a single ship, but a group of ships primarily composed of battleships.

Yes, that seems to be being forgotten, if I would of remembered that I wouldn’t of posted this (maybe.)
