First, Hitler is definitely dead. He killed himself hours before the Soviets stormed Berlin.
Second, I would take much of the History Chanel’s programing with a grain of salt. It seems like they sometimes sacrifice fact in place of something to make their shows interesting (they are a company, after all, and they want to make money). Also they have shows about monsters and UFOs, which makes me doubt the credibility of the entire channel
