@windowwasher I’m getting my PC fixed but then I’ll have to download Triple A, thanks again for the advice. I just tested out bids by myself with allies at +30 on the Europe map. The difference was huge, they put a fighter in Scotland and a destroyer in the 110 fleet I believe-with the French cruiser. They also put a sub in the med for Taranto and a tank for Tobruk. The Axis definitely is limited in what they can do the first turn and they don’t have near total domination of the sea right away.
Allies Bid

So, what does it take?

Playing the Allies is a bit more complex because a suboptimal move for one Allied nation can end up being the most optimal move for all the Allied nations together. It’s something that is not necessarily related to attacking, but may be about production or positioning instead.
I feel the game is pretty even, usually the Axis player put a lot more thought in their play than the Allied player which probably explains the 6-12 IPC the allies are getting as a bid, on average.

Has more to do with the positioning the allies have as to why the allies bid ranges from 6-12.
