There are tons of people for the J1 attack. However we have played our last 6 games with Japan attacking on the 4th round. Even though the UK gets extra money from the islands it doesn’t compare to the USA’s bonus money. last 6 games Japan has taken India in round 5 every time.
Now we have played multiple games with the J1 attack and are about 50/50 on who wins.

Has anyone used the escort/interceptor abilities in the Pac.? If so is it worth it?

I have yet to see a strategic bombing raid in any game I have played so far. The interceptor escort rule should have been implemented in past AAA games. It really balances it and makes it more of a huge risk to bomb industrial areas like it was in real life. That being said, I haven’t seen it used because I haven’t seen a SBR yet :-P . Only worthwhile doing if you have a massive airforce, like Japan.

I’m guessing that we’ll see a bit more of this in Europe I would imagine.

If you’re being SBR’d in AA40P you’ve probably lost already. Europe will be the place to really evaluate the new rules on it.
